Cachipún: Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock, paper, scissors, the way it's played in Chile: "cachipún!". Against the computer or between two people; I made it to use in talks, so it looks big on a projector. The hands drop with each beat of the count and, at the end, both are revealed.

Controls

  • Space (or A or Start on the gamepad) starts the count: rock, paper, scissors. During the count, and up to half a second after "scissors", each player chooses, and the last choice counts. Whoever doesn't choose in time loses the round.
  • One player (key 1), against the computer: A rock, S paper, D scissors; with a gamepad, left rock, down paper, right scissors. You can also tap or click ✊ ✋ ✌️.
  • Two players (key 2): the first with A, S and D (or a gamepad); the second with I rock, O paper and P scissors. With gamepads, press Select on player 2's.
  • R resets the score; H (or Y on the gamepad) shows the instructions. F: full screen. Choices stay hidden until the end, so nobody can copy.
